A modular home will arrive to the property in separate pieces, and then will be assembled onsite. A pre-fab home arrives in one sturdy, well assembled piece. This makes the process easier and less stressful.

Yes. We are a CSA approved RTM builder and enforce strict quality control in all aspects of our trade and throughout the entire building process of our prefab homes. Our Production Manager inspects all pre-built homes throughout the building process and certified persons from Calgary also routinely inspect our pre-assembled homes throughout all stages.

RTM homes are our specialty and the only thing we do. However, Jade Homes partners with a variety of talented and reputable trades & services that we will be more than happy to recommend upon request.

As mentioned earlier, we want to foster your creativity. Our vendors offer a wide range of options for you to choose from. And our sales & design associates can assist throughout the entire building process.

Planning and design is included in the price of your RTM, and that includes transportation. Clients are responsible for making sure their location is set-up with power and utilities. Power line lifting fees may also be applicable, and are the responsibility of the owner.

Yes, the walls will likely experience minor cracking during the move. However, these cracks are only cosmetic and do not affect the structural integrity. To ensure a solid and structurally sound home, we glue our OSB sheeting on all exterior walls and install bracing on all exterior doorways and trusses. As part of your one year home warranty, Jade Homes will also repair all cracking after our delivery inspection is complete.

Although very unlikely, in the event there is major damage done to the home during transportation, the customer is not liable.
